Tucson is an incredible city and we are delighted to share our Hidden Tucson Gems & Tucson Accolades with you every Saturday during the Tucson Trolley Tour.  However, there is too much to fit in the short few hours that we have you.

For instance, did you know that Tucson was awarded the title of “City of Gastronomy” by UNESCO?  This worldwide organization searched through the most famous cities in the world and decided that our Old Pueblo had some of the best food they could find!

All my music fans out there are sure to appreciate Tucson’s wonderful musical heritage.  In fact, Tucson was voted the #7 Music city in the US because if our rich Country Western and Chicano musical traditions.

Tom, the driver did a great job of narrating the tour and showing the murals all over downtown Tucson. The only thing I wish was that they man had stopped more often at the murals at the murals then just a few so we could get better pictures. Nothing we can do about roads and they were kind of rough in certain places so I made hard to take good pictures. Overall, a great job in the office. The gift store was great too super job. We went on the tour last saturday.  It was awsome.  Tom was knowledgeable and so interesting to listen to.  Our group was 3 couples and everyone gave the tour an A+++.  All of us have lived in the Tucson area for a number of years and never knew there were so much wonderful things to see. My husband and I are from Oregon and zeroed in a trolley tour of Tucson’s downtown history and famous murals painted by local artists…we were blown away by Tom Heath’s warm personality and expertise!  We had so much fun and gained a deep appreciation for Tucson’s complex and intriguing history and unique growth into a dynamic city that embraces everyone! Took this tour with the Tucson Newcomer's Club and it was fabulous! Tom was so friendly and knowledgeable. Showed us so many murals around the area and loved hearing the background on the artists and the pieces.
