There are restrooms in two different locations in the MSA Annex. Water fountains are located near the restrooms to the north of Why I Love Where I Live. There is a coffee shop called Decibel Coffee Works in the MSA Annex.
If you want to explore more before your trolley tour:
Venture North just one block on Avenida Del Convento to see the Mercado San Agustin. Mercado San Agustin has several shops and a charming courtyard. You may want to try the La Estrella Mexican bakery for a sweet treat or Seis Kitchen for a breakfast burrito or other traditional breakfast.
Hidden treasures:
One of Tony Ray’s favorite juices is the watermelon cucumber lime juice at Seis Kitchen at the Mercado!
Tom loves the glazed doughnuts at La Estrella at the Mercado – crazy cheap and amazingly good.
Darren Jones loves Beaut Burger’s Sweet Potato Fries with the Spicy Rub.
There are 3 areas in the Mercado for parking. Two of which are dirt lots. Please note the street parking at the Mercado has a 2 hour time limit which is enforced on Saturdays. In spirit of adventure you can park anywhere along Tucson’s Modern Streetcar and take it right to us. Just take a West Bound Streetcar and are stops from stop #1 (name) Parking along the way, plan an extra 30 minutes into your travel time. It will be an extra 30 minutes of adventure.
We recommend that you reserve as soon as possible. Tours can sell out in high season and sometimes larger groups book several seats. Click here to make your reservation.
You can check in as early as 8 am at Why I Love Where I Live. We ask that you check in no later than 8:45 am. The Trolley does leave at 9 am sharp.
Yes, come rain or shine or snow (just kidding, we rarely get snow). The trolley has air conditioning for warmer days and windows that can be opened during nice weather.
There is also a back patio which is open during nice weather and we encourage you to check it out during your ride. The back patio is great for drive-by photos.
Yes, there are two photo stops and potty breaks on the tour.
Absolutely. There are several places to get fresh juice, smoothies, coffee and water in the MSA Annex or Mercado San Agustin. Bottled water is available on the trolley. Alcohol is not allowed at any time.
Anyone and everyone is welcome on the trolley. If parents are going to bring a child, it is recommended that the child is very content/well behaved, to allow all passengers to enjoy tour. One or two strollers that are fold-able, not higher than about 5 inches will fit in the storage compartment. Large and bulky strollers are not recommended and should be left in your personal vehicle before loading trolley.
The trolley is not wheel chair accessible and has no storage space large enough for a folding wheelchair. Some Flat folding walkers can fit in storage compartment along with strollers.
*Note: There is about a 300 yard walk to the restroom from the trolley at the U of A.
Pets are not recommended because we expect trolley to sell out for each and every tour leaving only room for seated or patio passengers.
No cash refunds on cancellations. If it is necessary to cancel you may reschedule to a future tour date with available seats.Â
Water, sodas, and snacks are welcome for you to enjoy during the tour. No alcohol is allowed for these downtown morning tours.
